Located on a child-friendly park a short distance (600 m) from the sea and the beach. In the barn there are two bikes ready, with a bike trailer and bike seat so you can cycle to the beach. The bike trailer can be converted into a stroller. There is also plenty to enjoy in and around the bungalow. Just relax in the corner sofa or outside on the lounge set.
Take a nice walk on the beach or make sandcastles? There is a boule court, sports fields, large playground and a subtropical swimming pool. During the recreational season, the snack bar and restaurant are open and various activities are organized.
Environment
KustBungalow 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are located at Camping 't Noordersandt in Julianadorp aan Zee.
The head of North Holland has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands! But the beach is always fun. Every season has its charm. Children enjoy themselves flying kites, building beach castles or playing in the water. The dunes with extensive paths are very suitable for Nordic walking. The dune landscape varies from dune lakes, a lookout dune to dune forests. After a walk on the beach, enjoy a meal in a beach pavilion watching the sunset; the ultimate holiday feeling!
The Schoorlse forest:
The extensive dune and forest area of Schoorl is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Nowhere are the dunes wider and higher. It is climbing and descending over the paths. Along bird-rich forests, open heathland and undulating dunes. You should definitely not miss the climbing dune. It is located in the center of Schoorl. The climbing dune works as follows: walk up, admire the view and then run, fly or roll down as fast as you can! Fun guaranteed! At the foot of the climbing dune you will find numerous restaurants and terraces. From the climbing dune you can walk straight into the forest or the shopping street. Something for everyone.
Villages:
The authentic villages of Valkoog and Groenveld are definitely worth a visit. Callantsoog is also fun to visit. There is plenty to do here. Such as excursions in the Zwanenwater nature reserve, fairs, events on the beach, kite festival, funfair attractions and live performances in a large tent. In the village centre there are cosy cafés, restaurants and terraces.
Cities:
Schagen is a pleasant city, with many events, including the Schager pop weekend, funfair and the Easter cattle. The West Frisian Folklore is on the Schager Markt every Thursday in the summer. The old crafts are exhibited and reenacted. Complete with a parade of old carriages, traditional costumes and music. Alkmaar is known as the second shopping city of the Netherlands, but is especially known for its weekly cheese market.
The old steam train runs between Hoorn and Medemblik. Visit Radboud Castle in Medemblik or take a look at the harbour. The national fleet days are held every year in the naval city of Den Helder.
